1. Controller

The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

STM Corporate Group 8000 Centre Park Drive Suite 130 Austin, TX 78754 USA Email: hello@stmcorporate.group Phone: +1 512 838-3897

2. Collection and storage of technical data

When you visit this website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary information. This may include in particular the IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, the amount of data transferred, browser type, operating system and referrer URL.

This data serves the secure, stable and efficient provision of the website. The website is delivered through Vercel. Processing by the hosting provider is governed by its current privacy terms.

3. Audience measurement with Plausible

We use Plausible Analytics for data-minimising audience measurement. According to its own description, Plausible uses no cookies and creates no personal or cross-device user profiles. The analysis helps us understand which content is used and how we can improve what we offer.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a data-minimising analysis and improvement of our information service.

4. Contact form

When you use the contact form, we process in particular your first name, last name, email address, optionally your phone number, your message and the page you came from (referrer), in order to answer your enquiry and assign it to the right person.

Processing takes place to carry out pre-contractual measures or on the basis of our legitimate interest in handling incoming enquiries in an orderly way. To fend off automated submissions we check a hidden field and the time between opening the form and sending it; this information is not stored.

We also create your details as a contact in our contact system at Mailchimp (see section 5, including the transfer of data to the USA), so that your enquiry can be assigned to the right person and the further exchange remains traceable. A contact request is not a newsletter sign-up; the assignment is made through context-based tags. You can object to this processing at any time; every one of our emails contains an unsubscribe link for this purpose.

5. Newsletter and Mailchimp

For the newsletter we process your first name, last name and email address as well as the page you came from. Sign-up is complete once you submit the form; we do not use a confirmation procedure (double opt-in). The legal basis is your express consent, which you give in the form and the time of which we record.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. Every issue contains an unsubscribe link for this purpose.

We use Mailchimp to manage and send the mailing list. When external service providers are used, processing may take place outside the European Union; the contractual and statutory safeguards of the respective provider apply.

6. Administrative notifications with Resend

For contact requests, an administrative notification is sent through the email service Resend so that the enquiry can be handled. The notification contains the details you submitted and the page you came from. Newsletter sign-ups do not trigger such a notification.

Here too, processing may take place outside the European Union. The data is stored only for as long as is necessary for handling, documentation and the fulfilment of legal obligations.

7. YouTube videos

Videos are first shown as static preview elements. Merely loading a page does not embed a YouTube iframe. Only when you actively click on a video is a connection to YouTube established and the video loaded through the more privacy-friendly domain youtube-nocookie.com.

With that click, data may be transferred to YouTube or Google. If you are signed in to YouTube or Google at the same time, the provider may associate the visit with your account. The privacy terms of the respective provider apply.

8. External links

This website contains links to external websites and social networks. When you click an external link, you leave our site. The respective operator is responsible for the processing of personal data on the linked pages.

9. Other ways of contacting us

If you contact us by email, phone, Telegram or through a linked booking page, the data you provide is processed in order to answer your enquiry. Scope, purpose and storage period depend on the content and course of the enquiry and on the statutory retention obligations that apply.

10. Cookies

This website itself sets no cookies and no marketing cookies. External services can only use their own technologies after a deliberate interaction, for example when you start a YouTube video or open an external service.

11. Local storage in the browser

So that the notice bar at the top of the page does not show the same message on every visit and the newsletter window does not come back after you close it, we store two technical values in your browser’s local storage (localStorage): the message last shown and the time until which the window stays hidden.

These values contain no personal data, are not transferred to us and remain solely on your device. You can delete them at any time through your browser settings.

12. Your rights

Within the statutory requirements, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.

To exercise your rights, an informal message to hello@stmcorporate.group is enough. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
